Q: Are you a reputiable company?

A: Texas Giclee is a Frame Gallery company. We started in 1985 and have served ten of thousands of clients thru the years. We are a fantastic image printing and framing company!

Q. Can I pick up my print or not be charged for shipping?

A: Yes, select local pick up and view location map?

Q: Can I pick up my print and you not charge me for shipping?

A: Yes, veiw the location map.

Q: How long does it take to print my file before shipping.?

A: We offer one day. However, our standard print time is 3 days.

Q: Will my printed image look like it does on my monitor?

A: This depends on if you monitor is highly calibrated. Most box store monitors today are BADLY out of color. Why? Because computer companies want to sell monitors! They make them very bright and with saturated colors. Although it looks great in a Best Buy, it is not realistic for printing a high quality photograph or image. We use Eizo Coloredge monitors to print your file exactly as it was taken and edited by you. Your print may or may not look like your monitor unless it is calibrated.

Q :Do I need to prep my file?

A: Yes, it is always best to prep your own file. However, if you need editing we can provide great editing services.

Q: The calculator is only in full inches, and I need an exact measurement in less than the full inch measurements.?

A: Put in the next size inch up in the calculator and then in instructions, tell us the measurement you want. Example: You want an 8.5 x 11 inches. Put in a 9 x 11 for pricing . Then make your file 8.5 x 11, and tell us the size in the instruction box.

Q: If I want to prep my file, what should I do?

A: When you save a file for your archives, it is best to save it in a non-compressed Tiff, Raw or PSD format. This will keep the most information in your file for preservation. When you are ready to print with us, PLEASE CONVERT IT TO A JPEG prior to uploading.

Q:What color mode should my file be?

A: Please make sure your color mode is sRGB or RBG 98. The RGB 98 contains a wider color gamut and will produce a slightly better print. However, both color modes will work. Please double check that you do not send in CYMK.

Q: Should I crop my file?

A: Yes, please crop your file to the size you desire. If you don't crop, we can crop for you for a small fee. If we crop, we center the crop on the largest size and the other measurement falls where it lays. It is best if you crop your file. Please make it a quarter inch bigger than you need in case you need to frame or matt.

Q: How big can you print?

A: We can print by 42 inches wide and up to 40 feet long.

Q: Are your prices competitive?

A: We have very competitive pricing with companies with similar quality. However , Wal-Mart, CVS, Walgreens, Costco and Sams are cheaper. We do not even try to compete on that level. We use only the finest archival quality of inks and media. Our staff are experts at color management and we only sell prints that last a lifetime.
